Elevation BC is a specialist commercial building consultancy founded in 2020 by Simon Young, following over a decade at two leading London-based building and project consultancies. Simon’s expertise spans project leadership, technical design and defect investigation, environmental sustainability, and building safety — with a focus on the hospitality, senior living, and retail sectors.

In 2023, Jonathan Grimes joined as Director, bringing extensive experience in project management, technical due diligence, and building investigations across hospitality, senior living, and commercial office environments. Having first worked together on London’s Southbank in 2007 and later in Bristol in 2019, Simon and Jonathan share a collaborative approach grounded in technical excellence and practical insight.

Together, they lead Elevation BC in providing carefully considered, independent technical advice tailored to the specific needs of a select group of clients — ensuring clarity, quality, and confidence at every stage of a project.
